Venom Tryouts

What's Included: Custom Venom Uniform/Gear package, Directed by Ethan LaHoda, Venom Training camp, coached by some of our top coaches, an extra spring tournament, video and film resources, mental performance training, 2 days a week speed training with Coach Roach, indoor turf preference, and more.

Tryout Dates:

September 28th

• 6th Grade: 3:00pm-4:30pm
• 7th- 8th Grade: 4:30pm-6:00pm

October Sunday 10/19

• 11am-12:30pm All Grades (6th, 7th, and 8th)
• Broomfield Commons Yellow Pod Field One

All teams will be directed by Coach LaHoda, and he will be personally involved with practice planning, system implementation, and on-field training.

Positional Specialists: We have designated position specialists for each position that will work with all players in the Venom program.

Joe Whitmore - Goalies, former Goalie coach at CSU

Location: Broomfield Commons Championship Field

Boys Ages: 2032-2030 (6th-8th Grade)

Tryouts: Only boys in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will be attending these tryouts

Tryout Overview: Tryouts are designed to place players on the appropriate team/division based on skill, athleticism, lacrosse IQ, and attitude. Players who do not make Venom select will be placed on a regular spring Rattlers team. We anticipate 2-3 teams at the 6th-8th grade age groups. We strongly believe that all players should earn their spot, and tryouts are a great way for them to do this. We highly recommend players attend both tryouts to get the most thorough evaluation possible.

Please note: Players are not guaranteed a spot on the same team/division as previous years and spots are determined ONLY by the above parameters.
